PRIVACY POLICY

Your play stays yours.

Effective September 8, 2026

Who we are

The Cascade team publishes Cascade, a word puzzle game for Android. This Privacy Policy explains how Cascade handles information when you use the app.

For privacy questions or requests, contact support@leagloveenterprises.com.

Information stored on your device

Cascade stores game and preference data on your device so the game can work. This can include:

  • scores, words found, combo records, daily history, streaks, stamps, stage progress, and earned stars;
  • coin balances, claimed rewards, and available in-game utilities;
  • sound, haptics, reduced-motion, pause, notification, and reminder settings; and
  • a temporary game snapshot when you leave an active run.

Cascade does not require an account, name, email address, contact list, precise location, microphone, camera, or payment information to play.

Analytics and attribution

Some release builds may use Firebase Analytics to measure ad-related events such as an ad placement request, whether an ad was shown or completed, and loading time. Firebase may also process app and device information under Google's terms.

If an Adjust app token is configured in a build, Adjust may process attribution and measurement information such as app events, device or advertising identifiers, install-referrer information, IP address, and device information. Builds without an Adjust token do not start the Adjust SDK.

We use this information to understand app performance, measure acquisition, diagnose failures, and improve the game. We do not use your locally stored word history or game-board contents for targeted advertising.

Ads and rewards

Cascade may offer optional rewarded ads for coins, extra time, streak recovery, or other clearly labeled benefits. It may also show an interstitial at a natural transition between runs. An advertising provider may process device, network, advertising, and interaction information to deliver, measure, secure, and limit ads. The provider shown in your installed version may depend on the release and region.

We will update this policy and the Google Play Data safety section before adding a provider whose practices materially change these disclosures.

Permissions and background features

Cascade may ask for notification permission so it can show board reminders, streak updates, and play shortcuts. If you separately allow display over other apps, Cascade may show a floating reminder over another app. You can decline either permission and keep playing.

When board reminders are enabled, Cascade may use a visible foreground service, wake lock, boot receiver, and scheduled background work to keep reminder timing available. The app also uses network access for configured analytics, attribution, ads, and related services, and may access the Android advertising ID where the platform and your settings allow it.

You can turn board reminders off in Cascade Settings. You can manage notifications, floating-window access, and advertising controls in Android settings.

When information is shared

Information may be processed by service providers that help operate the app, including Google Firebase and Adjust when those services are configured. Advertising providers may also process information when ads are enabled. These providers act under their own terms and privacy policies.

We may disclose information when required by law, to protect users or the app, or as part of a business transfer with appropriate safeguards. We do not sell your personal information for money.

Retention and deletion

Local game data remains on your device until you clear Cascade's storage or uninstall the app. A saved game snapshot is removed after it is restored or the run ends.

Firebase, Adjust, and any advertising provider retain information according to their settings and policies. You can ask us to help with a data request by emailing support@leagloveenterprises.com. Because Cascade has no user accounts, we may not be able to connect third-party pseudonymous records to you without information supplied by you or the provider.

Security and international processing

We use platform protections and encrypted network connections where supported. No system can guarantee absolute security. Service providers may process information in countries other than your own and apply safeguards required by applicable law.

Children

Cascade is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.

Your choices

  • Play without creating an account.
  • Decline or disable notifications and floating reminders.
  • Reset local data by clearing app storage or uninstalling Cascade.
  • Use Android privacy and advertising controls.
  • Contact us about access, correction, deletion, or another privacy request.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when Cascade or its service providers change. We will publish the revised policy here and update the effective date. We will provide additional notice when required by law.
